The Water Ring: Adventure at Castel Rinaldi Falls
If you want a short experience that can provide intense emotions, this loop tour is the perfect balance between history, sport and unspoiled nature.
Designed to welcome families and small groups of friends, the itinerary will transport you in a few kilometers from the quiet of the Umbrian countryside to an almost primordial setting, where the water and lush vegetation become the absolute protagonists of an unforgettable day
The Itinerary: A Dive into the Green Heart of the Massetano
The route begins through gentle secondary roads that quickly lead to the village of Castelrinaldi, a small historic jewel built in 1161 by Rinaldo, Duke of Calabria.
But it is immediately after the village that the adventure heats up:
The Secret Path: From the village you take a path that descends decisively towards the "Fosso di Rinaldi", where the landscape suddenly changes, transforming into a dense forest with almost tropical vegetation
The Waterfalls: Following the course of the stream for about 300 meters, you reach the two splendid hidden waterfalls.
Here, among soft mosses, lush ferns and the thunderous leap of water, nature manifests itself in all its aesthetic power
The Panoramic Return: Going up towards Massa Martana, the gaze opens up to a breathtaking panorama that extends all the way to the city of Todi, embracing the entire surrounding countryside. The final entrance under the historic city walls closes the circle of this evocative and fun adventure
